“Leading Out of the Overflow” is Theme of MLC in Cyprus
One of the International Baptist Convention’s core strategies is to Empower Leaders, and we want to do this at every level of the church! To that end, we are excited that this year we are able to offer scholarships to both a staff member/couple as well as a lay leader/couple to our Ministry Leadership Conference in Cyprus, 9-13 March.
Our Ministry Leadership Conference is a highlight of the year for many of us, and this year we are excited that Richard Blackaby is coming to speak on “Leading Out of the Overflow.” We have chosen this topic because it is specifically relevant to staff and lay leaders alike.
Blackaby has worked with thousands of leaders and has realized how many of us experience dry periods in our Christian walk. Sometimes we strive to keep on leading, even though we feel “out of gas.” Blackaby will look at the leadership of Moses and Elijah and how they learned to lead out of the overflow of their walk with God and how our leadership should follow their model.
In addition to this, we are putting together a number of great seminars that will appeal to staff and lay leaders alike, providing a tour of Paphos where the Apostle Paul was on Cyprus, staying at a fantastic 5-star hotel, having a counselor available to meet with free of charge, and having a number of other surprises to minister to your souls and give plenty of time for rest for your bodies.
Please be sure to sign up as soon as possible, as space is limited. We look forward to seeing you there!
