In September, Jim Goforth, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Kaiserslautern, Germany, participated in a mission trip to Emanuel Baptist Church in Oradea, Romania.  Faith Baptist has been in partnership with Emanuel for more than 20 years, but the relationship has been dormant for the last few years.  Goforth’s trip renewed the relationship and provided many opportunities for ministry.

The highlight of the week was the release of Goforth’s sermon book on Zechariah, translated into Romanian.  Goforth held a book signing as well as gave away more than 100 books to pastors and students.

During the week Goforth also had the opportunity to speak in four other churches and a high school chapel.  “We’re praising the Lord for a renewed historic partnership with Emanual, Oradea,” Goforth said.
