One of the best practices for the financial area of a church is to have a written policy that governs the work of those in that area.  We know that writing this can be a large task to undertake and so we have developed a SAMPLE Church Accounting Policies and Procedures document to assist you.  We know that IBC churches come in all shapes and sizes and so writing a “one-size-fits-all” manual is nearly impossible.  You may find that some things do not apply to your church.  Please use this document as a model for your own policy and procedures manual.  Please see the Introduction section of the manual for more information.
