Ministry Leadership Conference

Get equipped for ministry while forging new relationships and getting some much needed “downtime.” This conference is well suited for church leaders and their families as well as lay leaders involved in ministry. A different keynote speaker ministers to participants each year and break out sessions give time to discuss various topics related to life in ministry. The conference venue changes each year, so it is a great opportunity to see a new part of the world.

The conference cost includes 4 nights accommodation (from Friday to Tuesday) with breakfast, a group tour on Saturday afternoon, and dinner on Saturday evening.

Location

The Saracen Sands Hotel in Isola delle Femmine – Palermo, Sicily, will be the location of our Ministry Leadership Conference this year.   

The hotel covers an area of ​​over 3 hectares characterized by a large main building, recognizable from the surroundings and the sea for its pure white color, surrounded by a lush garden, and located a few steps from the beach. Between the Mollica and Raffo Rosso mountains, the Capo Gallo promontory with its Natural Reserve and the suggestive seaside villages of Mondello and Sferracavallo.

Dave Campbell

Dave Campbell and his wife, Janelle, live in Post Falls, Idaho, where Dave serves as International Discipleship Pastor with Real Life Ministries, Post Falls. Dave has been in this role for almost 14 years. The Campbells have been married 34 years and enjoy immensely their 11 children and 30 grandchildren. The number one focus of their work is promoting Biblical Relational Discipleship worldwide and assisting churches everywhere to be and make disciples of Jesus.

EXPERIENCE

  • More than 20 years of pastoral ministry

  • 12 years as a missionary in Mexico

  • 11 years as a part of Real Life Ministries (Post Falls) Team, facilitating “Discipleshift” trainings nationally

  • 14 years leading an international ministry in more than 40 countries worldwide including speaking, leading trainings, and coaching pastors

  • Team Leader – equipping and developing an international ministry team of 3 staff and 50+ volunteers at Real Life Ministries

  • Author of the book “Disciples Unleashed”

Sightseeing

Palermo is Sicily’s cultural and tourism capital. It is a city rich in  history, culture, art, architecture, music, and food.  Palermo is also the main location of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Arab-Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalu and Monreale.

Nearby Cefalu is a marvelous medieval village, situated above a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean. Located between the Madonie and the sea, it is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy with is tiny streets from which offer you nice views. It is famous for its Norman Cathedral (part of the UNESCO World Heritage site).

The sessions will take place late morning, following the worship service from 11:00 to 12:30 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
