Two Conferences, One Goal: Leadership Development

Plan now to attend one of two ministry leadership development conferences being offered by the International Baptist Convention.  The conferences are designed for IBC church leaders desiring biblical teaching on leadership.

The Ministry Leadership Conference – Europe will be 13-17 March at the Importanne Resort in Dubrovnik, Croatia.  Conference speaker will be Jim Putnam on his model of relational discipleship.  Putnam’s passion is discipleship through small groups.  With his background in sports and coaching, Putnam believes in the value of strong coaching as a means to disciple others. In addition, there will be a wide variety of seminars that will appeal to both staff and volunteer leaders alike.

The Ministry Leadership Conference – Latin America will be 23-26 March in Brasilia, Brazil.  Conference speakers will be Chuck and Ingrid Davis.  While Chuck was serving as senior pastor of Stanwich Church, Ingrid served as a life coach and spoke at conferences internationally.  Chuck just recently resigned as pastor so that they could partner together in an itinerant ministry focused on the development and care of church and mission leaders.

Both conferences will provide a chance to recharge, spend time with other IBC leaders, and be sharpened, encouraged, and prayed for and will give you an opportunity to learn some great skills to empower you as a leader.
