Throughout the year, teams within the IBC organize a variety of conferences for our member churches. These gatherings provide not only excellent teaching but also create a dedicated time and space for fellowship with others who are serving in a ministry context.
This weekend conference encourages men in their unique calling as leaders in the home and the church. The time includes daily seminars on topics such as marriage, family, and discipleship. Count on evening worship services with music from convention musicians and sermons. There is also a special program after worship time for youth (from 10 years old and up), and there is always plenty of free time to fellowship, ski, or relax.
Get equipped for ministry while forging new relationships and getting some much needed “downtime.” This conference is well suited for church leaders and their families as well as lay leaders involved in ministry. A different keynote speaker ministers to participants each year and break out sessions give time to discuss various topics related to life in ministry. The conference venue changes each year, so it is a great opportunity to see a new part of the world.
Women from all over the world gather to fellowship and grow with other women from IBC churches during the annual women’s conference. Included in this time are breakout sessions on a variety of topics, personal testimonies, and worship through prayer and music. This conference seeks to equip all women in their season of life and/or ministry. Each year there is a brilliant speaker providing excellent teaching in a different country and venue. Don’t miss out on these special times with sisters in Christ from across the globe!
Euroventure is the IBC’s annual summer camp for teens from ages 12 – 18. College students and leaders from the United States and Europe are trained and ready to care for and walk with your child/student as they learn about the foundations of the Christian faith with over 100 of their peers from around the world. The week is filled with Bible study opportunities, worship times, fun activities, and team-building exercises, all of which help to develop an atmosphere where students are able to instantly tear down the barriers of communication, and can quickly become friends, sometimes even friends for life!
The Annual Convention Meeting is the IBC’s family business meeting held in the autumn of each year. We encourage all of our member churches, and those considering joining the IBC, to send their pastors and church leaders to take part in this special three-day event. When we gather, we celebrate God’s faithfulness in building his world-wide church. It is a time to look back at what God has done and anticipate what He will do in and through His people in the future. It is also a time to decide on important decisions impacting the convention in the coming year. The venue and the theme change each year which mean that each meeting is a special event you won’t want to miss!
